U.K. law firms Slaughter and May and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP have released revised data to a parliamentary committee revealing that on average female partners and employees make 60 percent less than their male counterparts, a significantly larger pay gap than statistics they previously provided without including their partners. 
60 percent less? 60?! Not so Magic Circle for the women.

Cravath matched salaries along the Milbank scale for junior associates. For midlevel associates, the Cravath scale is a $5,000 bump up from where Milbank set the market, at senior levels the bump goes up to $10,000. And Cravath is giving out special bonuses like Simpson Thacher.
Bonuses will be paid on June 29. An associate must be at the Firm on June 29 to be eligible for the bonus. Associates who have been with the Firm for only part of the year or are working part-time will receive a pro-rated portion of the applicable class-level bonus.

The combined firm will continue as Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP nationally and Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel in Florida.  The combined firm will have more than 725 attorneys and professionals operating in 25 offices from Boston to Miami on the east coast to Denver and LA on the west coast, as well as Atlanta and the Carolinas.

Winston & Strawn LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP on Tuesday said they will match the new pay scale put forth by Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy LLP a day earlier that raises associates’ compensation by $10,000 to $15,000.
